Standards Assignment
When I looked up the requirements in my district to meet the TSIP standards, I was surprised at how many standards there were, and the tasks that were needed in order to meet the requirements. Did any of you have similar experiences, or was it about what you'd expect? Are any of you in the process of trying to meet those requirements and TSIP standards now and what are you required to do?

In my district, all certificated personnel were required to complete the first level of courses and tests using a program "How to Master". Until that time, I had never seen that program. Quite honestly, I found the courses and tests tedious and really on an accurate measure of test taking ability rather than technology awareness. It seems as though we may need some standard requirements that are not as rigorous as those in your district, but more comprehensive than those in my district.
